Poor Excellent

Look and feel

With a choice of Xpress-On covers, you can change the look of your Nokia 7310 Supernova on a regular basis. The mirror like screen coupled with the shiny flush keys gives the phone an eye-catching look while it fits comfortably in your pocket.

Ease of use

With Nokia's familiar menu onboard, the 7310 is a breeze to get to grips with. Everything's where it should be while the keypad is spacious enough to warrant easy and accurate key presses.

Features

With the emphasis on looks, the feature set of the 7310 Supernova suffers. The changeable covers, A2DP stereo Bluetooth, two-megapixel camera and FM radio are the only notable features.

Performance

The two-megapixel camera was nothing more than average, while the lack of 3G was a notable absentee as was the 3.5mm earphone jack. The Xpress-On covers also proved a little tough to remove.

Battery life

An average battery life of 240 minutes talktime and 300 hours standby.

Nokia 7310 Supernova

Pros: It looks fun, it’s light and the changeable covers are a nifty idea.
Cons: The camera is average and there’s no flash No 3G either.

Verdict: It’s a budget handset and for that it looks good. But if you want anything more than the lightest of eye candy, you’ll do better to look elsewhere.
