LG KG810 Chocolate Review
The KG810 has a hint of minimalist style with its svelte figure and glossy fascia, but the effect is ruined by the silver trim. There are limitations with the clamshell form and it definitely loses impact compared to the original Chocolate handset. Inside, the keypad looks good, with nicely bevelled keys that are fantastic to use and responsive.
There is a music player with a 3.5mm headphone jack, but only 128MB of memory with no chance to expand. A one-megapixel camera and Bluetooth are also included.
The KG810 is easy to navigate with large, responsive keys and navigation pad, and shortcuts galore. The user interface is easy to get to grips with. The camera is easy to operate and modify.
The screen is surprisingly bright and sharp, while photos are okay, but prone to overexposure. Music sounds good through a decent pair of headphones.
Under four hours of talktime isn't unusual, but it's always nice to see more. Still, the LG KG810 Chocolate will not be used for too much multimedia gubbins, so you won't need much more.
Pros: A very elegant, slimline design and a lucid-to-use chequered keypad.
Cons: The touch keys are just for show while the capable music player is made redundant by the limited 128MB of internal memory.

Verdict: Lacks the impact and sexiness of the KG800 Chocolate phone but the K810 nevertheless flaunts a certain panache.
