LG GW520 Review
The LG GW520 is on the chunky side due to the slide-out keyboard, and the plastic coating is verging on tacky.
As a social networking device, the LG GW520 certainly takes away the stress of keeping you in the loop. It syncs quickly and easily with Hotmail accounts, and has handy short cuts to all the details of your most used contacts.
Having push-email on Hotmail is quite the novelty, the QWERTY keypad is great to use and makes up for the less than intuitive touch-screen, and the shortcuts to Facebook are ideal for social networking addicts.
Although the touch-screen is not the most intuitive, the LG GW520 performed well when it came to social networking, and accessing the various sites was a breeze.
Battery performance was average.
The LG GW520 may be lacking in the looks department, and we have seen better touch-screens from the manufacturer, but the social networking features and shortcuts are bound to appeal, especially at this price.
Pros: Push-email was a breeze to set up and enabled us to keep tabs on all our email accounts.
Cons: The touch-screen is not the most intuitive that LG has produced.

Verdict: Facebookers and email addicts will be well catered for with the LG GW520, and for a price that won’t break the bank.
