HP iPAQ 914c Review

04 September 2008  |  Avg user rating:

Poor Excellent

Look and Feel

The shiny shell is appealing, and while the iPAQ 914c is a bit large for the hand it does handle well.

Ease of Use

The iPAQ 914c benefits from a relatively large QWERTY keyboard and a side scroll-wheel for getting around.

Features

Wi-Fi, GPS and HSDPA makE this a feature-packed smartphone. It's a shame about the absence of a front-facing camera for two-way video calls.

Performance

The processor seems competent and we didn’t have any real problems during testing.

Battery Life

HP says you’ll get up to four hours of talktime and 250 hours on standby. There are plenty of power draining features here to test it, though.

HP iPAQ 914c

Pros: Crammed with features and an easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard.
Cons: Slightly large for the hand and pocket, and the battery life could be better.
