iPhone 3G available now on prepay

Prepay version of both the 8GB and 16GB models on sale today

Fancy purchasing an Apple iPhone 3G but are put off by being tied to a long contract? Well as of today customers will be able to purchase the device with a one off payment. Available from O2 stores and The Carphone Warehouse, the 8GB version will cost £349.99 and the 16GB version £399.99.

Of course the prepay version is only available with an O2 Sim, but on purchasing the device you will be entitled to unlimited browsing and Wi-Fi for the first twelve months. After your twelve months has expired the same offer will cost you £10 per month, and of course there is an excessive usage policy. In addition, visual voicemail and call merging are not available on the prepay iPhone 3G. The Apple iPhone 3G builds on the original by offering 3G and HSDPA data speeds as well as A-GPS.
