The war of the dongles continues as Vodafone cuts the cost of its USB modem to match that of 3
First 3 did it, now Vodafone has followed suit. As part of its new price plan, Vodafone has reduced the cost of its Mobile Broadband USB modems. Reduced from £99 to £49 for its 30-day contract price plans, Vodafone has now matched 3's offer, who made a similar move last month. The 3.5Mbps USB modem is available on all 12, 18 and 24-month contracts, with Vodafone aiming to make mobile broadband more readily accessible to its customers.
This decision by Vodafone follows a new three tier pricing structure that the operator introduced in April:
