Sony Ericsson celebrates partnership by promoting the Espresso Black W890i

Vodafone has announced the date, venue and line up for the first of this year's Vodafone TBA gigs. Rather than previous years, the events will be bigger with more than one artist playing. The first TBA of 2008 will be held on 1 June in Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh where those playing will include the Sugababes, The Feeling and Gnarls Barkley. Vodafone customers have the opportunity to win tickets for themselves and two friends by texting 61500.

It is the second year running that Sony Ericsson has joined Vodafone as the official handset partner for Vodafone TBA. In conjunction with this, Sony Ericsson is promoting the Espresso Black W890i Walkman phone which will be available exclusively to Pay Monthly and Pay As You Talk Vodafone customers.

At each Vodafone TBA gig, guests will be able to receive exclusive content via Bluetooth. Content will include the latest videos from all the performing artists, show times, band biographies as well as images. The second Vodafone TBA is planned for August as part of the build up to the Vodafone Live Music Awards in September, where Sony Ericsson will be sponsoring the ‘Tour of the Year Award.'
