Use your own headphones with the iPhone

The SmartTalk adaptor from Griffin lets you plug your own specialist music headphones into the Apple iPhone

The Grifffin SmartTalk is an adaptor that plugs into the iPhone headset port and lets you add your own headphones. Because the iPhone's headset port is set a little deeper, the majority of 3.5mm headphones are not compatible without an adaptor.

The SmartTalk adaptor enables users to take and receive calls, send them to voicemail, and adjust the volume while you're listening to music thanks to a mini control pad built into the device. The SmartTalk also features a noise-cancelling microphone for clear voice calls. While using the music player, the control pad lets you play, pause and skip through music tracks.

The SmartTalk costs £12.99 and will be available from April.
