Style-based phone with hidden key pad
Sony Ericsson has unveiled the Pureness - the latest release in the Xperia family that recently saw the introduction of the Xperia X2.
According to the company, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pureness is a phone with a simple design, bringing together, "...beautiful craftsmanship and the concept of talk, text, time - a holiday from technology."
These rather metaphysical words, which also blend with phrases such as 'work of art' and the like are backed up with unusual features such as a keypad that lights up when in use but then disappears when not whilst the display is transparent. In fact, the likeness between the Pureness and the recently rumoured Kiki handset is uncanny. No other specifications have been released, at the moment, but we'll keep you informed of any updates.
Reckoned to be valued at a high price, the new design is apparently due to be released in November in "key cities" around the world.
