New Sony Ericsson handset may feature 8Gb and 8MP camera
Rumours have emerged of the release of a new Xperia X5 that, says reports, will arrive with 8Gb of memory and will sport a built-in camera of 8MP along with autofocus and a flash plus a 3.2" touchscreen. Other reported inclusions, says the Pocket-lint website, are fast data transfer via HSDPA and WiFi plus GPS
No sooner have details about the forthcoming release of Sony Ericsson's Xperia X1 filtered into the mobile community's conciousness then new rumours have been circulating of a new handset based within the same family from the company with a X5 moniker. One has to ask if such rumours are true, an elaborate hoax or even exaggerated talk from a Sony Erissson employee. Whatever, it does beg the question: what happened to the missing X2, X3 and X4? Have these models tried and failed to come to market, dying on the design board or does the X5 smack of a marketing spin campaign giving the impression that it's so much more advanced purely on the basis of a name?
