Sony Ericsson flatly denies that both Xperia X10 Mini and Xperia X10 Mini Pro to arrive next month
Oh well it seems it was too good to be true. Sony Ericsson has been quick to deny claims on the Expansys website that the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini and the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro will arrive on these shores on April 13th alongside the introduction of the Xperia X10, which will be introduced via Vodafone.
According to the Expansys website, both phones are currently available to the public on a pre-order status, with the Xperia X10 Mini priced at £299.99 and the Xperia Mini Pro at £339.99, according to the Softpedia website. However it would appear that we're going to have to wait a while longer after a Sony Ericsson spokesman confirmed that Expansys' info was wrong.
Both offering a 2GB memory card in the box, they also offer Android 1.6 OS, a QVGA touch-creen, HSPA for fast data transfer, Wi-Fi, GPS, a 5-megapixel camera with an autofocus facility and a microSD card slot, so you can see why we were disappointed to hear this news.
We'll be sure to let you know once we've received a genuine on sale date.
