The W980i Walkman boasts an 8GB memory and HSDPA broadband data speeds
The W980i is a stunning new addtion to the Walkman phone range and, with its minimalist matt black finish and a fascia adorned with dedicated music controls, it looks every inch a music player.
The W980i's killer music features, include the huge 8GB memory and the HSDPA music download speeds, as well as a built in FM transmitter, which lets you send whatever's playing on your device to other devices with a built in FM radio receiver.
As with the Sony Ericsson Walkman W910i, the W980i boasts shake control, which lets you move forward or back a track with a shake of the wrist. You also get a Walkman player with clear stereo and clear bass, and the full array of music features, including: Album art; SensMe for organising music into moods; the PlayNow music trial and download service; and the TrackID music recognition service. The W980i also offers stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) and it comes with a free set of HPM-77 stereo headphones.
