Sky TV coming to 3 mobile phones

3 UK customers will get access to live TV channels like Sky Sports and Sky News

3 is offering its customers access to Sky Mobile TV on their handsets for a flat monthly fee of £5, or £1, per day, charged in addition to the customer's existing 3 data plans. Users will be able to access Sky TV Mobile TV portal via Planet 3.

Because the service is accessed via the internet rather than broadcasted live to all 3 handsets, 3 customers who wish to watch live TV on their phones will have to stream it to their handsets, which will be data intensive. 3 will therefore be encouraging customers to sign up to internet add-ons, which are available from £2.50 per month for 10MB of data.
