New high capacity card boosts your Sony Ericsson Walkman phone's music storing potential
San Disk had introduced a 4GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) enabling you to store up to 1,000* music tracks, 2,000 high-resolution photos** or 20 hours of MPEG4 video*** on your latest Sony Ericsson Walkman music phone or Cyber-shot camera phone. This new Memory Stick clearly transforms your Walkman handset into a legitimate portable music player challenging the likes of the Apple iPod Nano and Creative Zen V dedicated music players.
The Memory Stick Micro (M2) is Sony's version of the microSD card and measures a dinky 15mmx12.5mmx1.2mm and is compatible with the latest and upcoming Sony Ericsson Walkman and Cyber-shot phones including the W200i, W580i, W610i, W660i, W850i, W880i plus the K550i, K800i and K810i. A price for the 4GB Memory Stick Micro (M2) has yet to be announced but expect an initial hefty cost of around £100.
