Samsung QWERTY smartphone launches on Voda

29 June 2009

C6625 business/personal handset exclusive to Vodafone UK

What with Samsung's recent hero handset launches - first ever hi-def video cam phone, another one packing a whopping 800Mhz CPU - it'd be easy to forget they also do a pretty business-like line of QWERTY smartphones too.

But here you go - according to Mobile Burn, the mid-range C6625 is the latest, launching on Vodafone with a set of nicely work-related specs. It's a slimline candybar with full QWERTY keyboard, powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 and hence dead easy to sync with all things Microsoft Outlook - email, appointments and address book.

It also supports Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents, and comes with Internet Explorer.

Other specs iynclude HSDPA support, Bluetooth a 2.6-inch TFT screen, two-megapixel camera, and a microSD slot to beef up the meager 150MB of internal memory.
