Research In Motion has announced a road map of new releases that, the company hopes, will rigorously compete with the Apple iPhone 3G. Leaked via a set of plans written by T-Mobile, the new handsets include colour tweaks. The Blackberry Pearl 8120 will be available in three colours: Tahitian Green, Indigo and Light Blue. The 8120 will run on the Blackberry OS 4.5.

Reports say that, the the BlackBerry Pearl 8220 will feature the OS 4.6.0. The 8220 will appear during early October.
All will feature a range of software application such as Google Maps, Facebook, XM Satellite Radio, and the upcoming SlingPlayer for BlackBerry which enables users to watch their TV from anywhere they have a data connection.
