Orange to carry new BlackBerry

Updated but lower spec BlackBerry Curve should be announced on Orange soon

We've just got wind of a soon-to-occur Orange announcement - the operator will be stocking a new BlackBerry. According to the source, this new 'Berry is a lower spec update to last year's popular Curve 8320 - which to us sounds just like the Curve 8520 leaked a couple months ago, which Vodafone is rumoured to be launching soon.

No 3G on this baby (instead expect slower internet EDGE speeds) and in a surprise omission, no trackball either, which means the phone probably won't be much of a contender when it comes to web browsing. Full QWERTY keyboard though, plus a 3.5mm audio jack and a two-meg camera, no flash.
