Monkey tariff targets the youth market with access to hundreds of thousands of songs
A new Orange prepay tariff that enables customers to stream music through any mobile handset or online for free becomes available from tomorrow. The Orange 'Monkey' tariff is predominately aimed at the 16 to 24 year old bracket and is the first prepay free music service from any of the UK operators. Customers who choose the Monkey tariff will be able to create, listen to and share playlists on social networks, as well as enjoying a minimum of 300 free text messages each month when they top up by at least £10. The portfolio of tracks available has been helped by Orange teaming up with 4Music and Universal Music.
Monkey customers can access the service by dialling 247 or by visiting www.orange.co.uk/monkey. Calls will cost 20p per minute as standard while texting will set you back 10p per message.
