Exclusive carrier of new iPhone is sold out until end of the week
Planning on getting the new iPhone? You're going to have to wait a while. O2, the official exclusive provider of the iPhone in the UK have officially and exclusively sold out.
They say: "Due to the phenomenal demand for the new iPhone 3G S, we've temporarily run out of stock online, over the phone and in our retail stores. We expect additional stock of the new iPhone 3G S to be available online, over the phone and in our retail stores at the end of this week."
That was fast - it seems that all us Brits don't mind the exorbitant prices of the new iPhone and its services, nor are we apparently aware that the 600Mhz CPU-packing device been plagued by mass reports of overheating. Anyway, if you're still planning on ordering an iPhone 3G S online, over the phone or in an O2 retail store, don't, because you can't.
