O2's service will allow customers to tailor their mobile internet experience
O2 is to introduce a new mobile internet experience by revamping their homepage. Customers of the operator will now be able to search for their favourite sites far more easily, directly from their homepage, thanks to an in-built toolbar. In addition, customers will be able to personalise their page by selecting the content and services they most use, so that it appears when they connect online.
This new, modified service will be launched initially on just 15 compatible handsets, though the number is set to grow as more devices become compatible over the coming weeks. The new O2 homepage will automatically replace the old one with no need for downloads or updates.
