O2 Broadband to take away

31 July 2008

O2 launches two broadband packages including a combined home and mobile offer

From 1 August to 31 October, customers that purchase O2 Mobile Broadband, will also receive O2's Home Broadband package for free for one year in a bundle titled Broadband Home and Away. It means that for £20 per month, customers can enjoy 3GB of data and unlimited Wi-Fi on their mobile handset as well as fast speeds, no download limits, a free wireless router and free 24/7 UK-based customer service while in the home. The offer is only available to those who live within the O2 Home Broadband network (approximately 60% of the UK population), although those who live outside of that radius will receive a £7.50 per month discount on their chosen plan for 12 months.

In addition, from 4 August customers can purchase the O2 Broadband Takeaway box for £30 (which will be credited to the customer's first broadband bill). The package includes a wireless router and all the kit needed to be on the net in four easy steps. It will eliminate the need to wait around for a router to be delivered, allowing customers to set up their broadband at their own convenience.

The Broadband Home and Away package can be purchased in any O2 retail store or on the O2 website. O2 Home Broadband Takeaway will be available from any O2 store as well as Carphone Warehouse from mid-August.
