New 'cut down' version to drop Comes With Music
Everything's relative, of course. Take the new version of Nokia's X6 mobile phone, which originally arrived with a pretty impressive 32GB of internal memory. Ideal for lots of media files including music and video. But now the company has officially announced a new design that modifies that original model by halving the featured memory to just 16GB. We say 'just' but most phones would be pretty darned chuffed to arrive with 8GB. As we say, everything's relative.
The new version also drops the Comes With Music software integration, and will arrive in four colours: black, white, white with yellow and white with pink. Internally, the phone is based upon Symbian S60 5th Edition or, as Nokia likes to call it nowadays, Symbian ^1, plus a 3.2-inch touch-screen and fast data transfer via HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS and a five-megapixel camera, according to the Nokia Conversations website.
Expect to pay around €350, which is €100 less than the original model.
