Nokia has launched two stylish new 3G handsets - the 6500 Classic and 6500 Slider.
As the name suggests, the Nokia 6500 slide is a slider-style phone, designed to appeal to camera phone fans who likes to shoot and share images. With a 3.2-megapixel camera, the Nokia 6500 slide is the first Nokia handset outside of the Nokia N-Series to feature Carl Zeiss optics. Through the phone's TV-out function, users have the ability to share pictures and videos on a TV screen as well as uploading images straight to the web.
In what is effectively another addition to the fashion phone market, the candy bar style Nokia 6500 classic is impressively slim at only 9.5mm and is built from 360 degrees of anodised aluminium and is individually diamond-polished meaning no two classic's will be exactly the same. As well as 3G, the handset boasts 1GB of internal memory (although there is no expandable memory) and a two-megapixel camera. Currently available in black, a bronze version of the phone will be available later this year.
