Nokia’s new customisable Nseries phone

26 August 2008

Nokia N79 is feature heavy with interchangeable covers and matching screen themes

Nokia's latest addition to its Nseries range aims to combine fashion with functionality. The Nokia N79 comes boxed with three Xpress-On smart covers that can be changed to suit your mood. With a total selection of five colours, including Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green, White and Coral Red, the N79's screen can also be customised to match the covers.

However, the N79 has just as much substance as style, with a five-megapixel camera complete with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED Flash, both Wi-Fi and HSDPA connectivity as well as 10 preloaded N-Gage games. With built-in A-GPS and Nokia Maps onboard, the N79 also allows the user to geo-tag their pictures with exact locations, while the handset comes boxed with a 4GB microSD memory card to store all your media content.

With an estimated retail price of £280 (before taxes and subsidies), the Nokia N79 is expected to start shipping in October 2008.
