Android handset to be initially released into China
More specifications and images have emerged detailing Dell's new Android-powered, mobile phone.
The Dell handset, which has been the subject of many news stories over the past few months, has now been unveiled in all its glory. Well, at least to the BGR website, which has managed to grab the full specifications for the phone plus a blurry picture.
To be initially released in China the phone, codenamed Benzine but to be sold on the streets as the Dell Mini 3i, will include quad-band GSM connectivity with GPRS and EDGE and features a 3.5in touchscreen display, packing in 640 x 360 pixels and 262K colors. It will also include handwriting recognition and a multi-touch user interface along with a virtual QWERTY keyboard.
A-GPS for location finding will sit alongside, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR, USB 2.0, a 3-megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, microSD card support and Microsoft Exchange support.
There are no details regarding a possible launch of the phone into Europe.

capacitive/resistive screen!!Handwriting recognition is generally featured on resistive touch screen as i uses a stylus for that as a finger is a bit big, but it can not support multi touch!! ANd capactive screens dont generally use Handwriting recognition so what type is this screen??
