New mobile phone announced by Samsung
A new mobile phone has been announced by Samsung. The handset, called the i907, is to be launched in the USA via AT&T with the name-tag of Epix.
The new phone will include a number of interesting new features and will operate on the trusty Windows Mobile Professional 6.1 operating system. To control the mobile, you will be given an optical joystick which will also be utilised as a ‘Select' button for the 5-way d-pad, according to the Boy Genius Report website.
For those looking for a swift method of pushing data around, you will be pleased to see that the phone will support UMTS/HSDPA. Also, if you travel around the country a lot or often find yourself in and around unfamiliar places, the addition of GPS will also be welcome. Other features will include a built-in camera of unknown specification plus Bluetooth.
