iPhone Xylo Wave protective case retains touch screen operation
The Xylo Touch-Thru case, created by ivyskin, wraps a hard shell over your iPhone but still allows you to use your Apple phone as usual.
Hard scratch resistant, ivyskin has used crystal case manufacturing, via technology developed in Germany, to integrate Xylo Wave technology that allows ultrasonic waves to pass over the touch screen panel. This allows you to still access standard iPhone interface as usual.
"Hence, when a panel is touched, a portion of the wave is absorbed. The changes in the ultrasonic waves registers the position of the touch event and sends this information to the iPhone's screen for processing," said a company spokesman.
Available to UK residents, the Xylo is priced from $29.95.
