Social network site to post BlackBerry community page
BlackBerry users will soon be able to make the most of their MySpace profile via their device. The MySpace Mobile experience has been customised for BlackBerry smartphones and will allow members to receive messages, updates and comments instantly via BlackBerry's push-based messaging service. MySpace members will also be able to take photos with their BlackBerry device before uploading them direct to their MySpace page, as well as finding and accepting friend requests.
MySpace will also begin featuring a BlackBerry community page on its website. The BlackBerry Hub will provide information and notifications regarding all things BlackBerry as well as product demos, including the new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220. Visitors will also be able to view videos that will assist users in getting the most from their BlackBerry smartphones as well as exclusive games, ringtones and wallpapers.
The MySpace Mobile application is expected to become available from October 2008.
