MOBILE CHOICE CONSUMER AWARDS: Best handset for Social Networking

09 October 2009

Winner: INQ1

Granted, it may have been on sale for the best part of a year, but the INQ1 still more than holds its own when it comes to social networking ¬which is why it has fended off competition from other like-minded yet newer models.

Integrated Facebook is the INQ1¹s main strength. Its address book syncs with all your Facebook buddies including status updates and profile pictures, and FB messages, pokes and requests show up in the phone¹s inbox. You can also upload pictures snapped with the 3.2-megapixel camera directly to the site.

And with Skype and Windows Live Messenger on board too, the holy triumvirate of (super integrated) social networking is complete - with the exception of Twitter - but hey, now we¹re really looking forward to INQ¹s Twitter phone, the Chat 3G. Full review
