New Ultimate Ears earphones improve iPhone users' aural experience
M-Audio has announced the release of the Ultimate Ears set of headphones, created especially for use with the new iPhone 3G.
One of the big problems with the Apple iPhone package is not necessarily anything to do with the iPhone itself but the accessories that arrive with it. More particularly, the included ear buds which, to be frank, are pretty pathetic as far as aural quality is concerned. Sensible Apple fans rush out and buy a replacement set to give their ears a break.
That choice has now increased by one with the announcement of the Ultimate Ears ear phones, created from lightweight aluminium. According to the New Launches website, the new phones have a sound insulation of 26dB and a frequency of 20Hz - 16kHz with an input sensitivity of 115dB/mW and impedance of 29Ω.
UK distribution and price details have yet to be announced but its equivalent price is around £85.
