Will its slide-out QWERTY keypad appeal to the social networking generation?
The LG conveyor belt continues with the release of the KS360. The KS360 is the first LG device to sport a full QWERTY keypad neatly tucked away under the handsets chassis. The manufacturer is hoping that with its range of vibrant colours, the stylish handset will appeal to the web-savvy generation making it easier to write emails or input information on their social networking sites. Despite the slide-out QWERTY keypad, the LG KS360 maintains a modest waistline at just 16.8mm thick. In addition once the keypad is slid open, the built-in accelerometers automatically rotate the 2.4-inch screen 90 degrees.
The LG KS360 also boasts touch-screen dialling, a two-megapixel camera and a microSD card slot that is compatible with up to 4GB. Available from August in titanium and bright blue, white and soft pink, black and red and black and silver, the LG KS360 will initially be available on O2 and Orange primarily on prepay.
