Prepay market prepares itself for five-megapixel camera phone
LG has been busy churning out high-end handsets of late, with the KF600 and KF700, along with the excellent LG Secret. Yet its latest addition is geared towards the prepay market. However, don't let that fool you. The LG-KC550, despite it's prepay status, sports a five-megapixel camera complete with Schneider-Kreuznach certified lens, image stabiliser and a dedicated camera button to capture images quickly and easily.
Due to the handset's TV output and 30 frames per second (fps) ability, users can enjoy DVD quality movies on a large screen, along with photos and documents. What's more, keen gamers can also play a host of motion controlled titles by plugging the handset into their TV and tilting or rotating the virtual motion controlled gaming function, called ‘M-Toy', to throw darts, hook a fish or navigate a maze.
The LG-KC550 will be available throughout June from Phones 4u, Carphone Warehouse and Tesco, with each distributor to set their own retail price.
