LG release a special edition of the Shine mobile phone

New LG Shine variant designed by Andy Lau

LG has released a new, modified version of its Shine mobile phone as a token to one of China's movie industry icons - Andy Lau. The new handset will be known as the Shine x Andy Lau. It's most interesting feature is a selection of the actor's handwriting which has been etched onto the rear of the mobile phone which declares his motto: "Heaven is where the kind-hearted people are." Which we think is rather nice.

According to the Mobile Whack website, Lau, the man, is an experienced actor as he's appeared in around 100 films and is very popular across the entire Asian continent.

The LG KE970 Shine features a 2MP camera, a microSD card slot and a built-in music player with stereo Bluetooth. The built-in music player, fired up by a dedicated side button, delivers a steady performance and 10 equaliser settings means that you can adapt the sound to the song.
