New LG handset boasts 29 hours of continuous music use.
LG has released the KM501 music phone in Taiwan. LG's new handset moves the mobile phone one step closer to transforming the phone into an all encompassing, communications and entertainment device. And for one simple reason, the length of time you can use your music phone for. The perennial problem with all phones is the draw on their resources because of the multitude of features and services on offer.
According to Unwiredview, there are other multimedia features included within the chassis including an ‘advanced music player', dedicated music keys, an equaliser mode and background mode which gives the handset an element of multi-tasking, allowing you to continue to play music while you do other things with the handset itself. Oh, you also get a 3.5 headphone jack.
The LG KM501 supports tri-band GSM and measures 101.5 x 48 x 15mm. It includes a 2MP camera with built-in flash and a digital zoom plus Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and a 2in screen.
No UK release date or price was mooted.
