New version of LG enV2 handset focuses on texting
Initially released by Telus, in Canada, is a new version of the LG enV2 mobile phone. To be known as the KEYBO, the handset is particularly oriented towards texting. A flip design, the company is pushing the design as the ultimate messaging phone, supporting EV-DO Dual band CDMA 800/1900 MHz.
According to the Telus Mobility website, the unit provides a twin screen display: an external display and an internal QVGA. The flip design then reveals a full QWERTY keyboard and a built-in camera is rated at 2MP with digital zoom, night mode and video capture. There are also settings for selftimer, colour tones, brightness, whitebalance, resolution, brightness and shot quality. A 1Gb memory card (memory can be expanded up to 8Gb) is supplied and entertainment is supplied via a music player - you can play music whilst typing your texts, by the way. Other features include GPS plus Windows Live Messenger to connect to family and friends.
