New style edition of Samsung phone for Russian Olympic team

The gold played Samsung  D780 mobile phone has been announced as the official mobile phone for the Russian Olympic team. The Olympic Edition Samsung D780 is swathed in gold plate and, on the rear, the Olympic Games logo can be seen in its resident colours. The price of the Olympic Edition Samsung D780 has yet to be formally declared but expect something up in the stratosphere.

The handset itself is a tri-band mobile phone with EDGE and GPRS utilised for data transfer use. The handset can feature two SIM cards which is almost like having two mobile phones in one and is great to compartmentalise your life into, say, business and personal calls.

You receive a built-in camera phone of 2MP whilst external connections can be made via Bluetooth 2.0, USB 2.0 and microSD. The phone, which measures 115 × 49.6 × 15.7, also supports stereo FM.
