New mobile phone shaped like Mickey Mouse arrives with neck band
A new novelty mobile phone, shaped like Mickey Mouse and branded with the Disney logo, has been released into the UK. Novelty phones are seemingly on the increase and are becoming popular. Is this a comment on the seeming bland nature of most mobile phone designs? Are we all looking for a phone that retains a personality of its own?
For those attracted to the Mickey Mouse phone, you'll be interested to know that its a tri-band, clamshell, handset complete with a dinky 1.3in TFT LCD screen displaying 260k colours. It also includes a FM radio that can play with ear-buds or via tiny speakers, situated in the ‘ears' of the Mouse. Weighing in at 80g, you also receive a 1.3MP camera, WAP, GPRS and two free games thrown in for good measure.
The Mickey mouse phone is available in the UK now and is priced at the rather quirky figure of £116.02.
