Virgin Media launches cheapest ever bundled mobile broadband package
Virgin Media has unveiled a host of mobile broadband packages for a monthly cost of just £5 a month, making it the cheapest mobile broadband package to ever hit the UK. New and existing customers on cable and ADSL services can simply plug a 1GB USB modem into their laptop and enjoy broadband internet on the go. The modem costs £25, with a £1.46-per-Mb charge if users surpass their included data allowance of 1GB per month.
All packages are available on a 12 month contract, with Virgin Media claiming their data allowance of 1GB per month is enough for around 700 emails, 33 hours of web surfing, 66 music tracks and 33 two minute videos. Mobile broadband is available on 0800 052 3344, at www.virginmedia.com/shrunk or at any Virgin Media or zavvi store.
