Bluetrek Metal - world's thinnest Bluetooth headset for mobile phones

05 June 2008

New Bluetooth headset for mobile handsets, released by ModeLabs.

The new Blutrek Metal Bluetooth headset, the thinnest currently on sale at just 4mm, has been released. Weighing under 5.5g, the headset might be svelte but it is pretty tough as it's constructed from metal. The Bluetrek Metal has a five hour talk time life. It also has a battery life of seven days in sleep mode.

Interviewed by Headset Gazzette website, CEO of ModeLabs Technologies, Henri-Nicolas Olivier said that, "Thanks to the use of metal, ModeLabs engineers rose up to the challenge of making an ultra-thin, slick designed and firmly modern Bluetooth headset. The Bluetrek Metal is discreet thanks to its comfort and extremely light weight, and suits perfectly the current consumer's expectations. It proves once again the innovation ability of the group, both with the used materials and the design and technologies it was able to conjure."

Available to buy sometime this month, the headset in its aluminium black and silver livery, is priced at 39 Euros and a stainless steel silver version priced at 49 Euros.
