T-Mobile has announced the launch of the Blackberry Bold handset
T-Mobile has announced that it will launch the new Blackberry Bold in a month's time. The new mobile phone is Research In Motion's first tri-band HSDPA 3G handset and the handset, which is also known as the Blackberry 9000, will be positioned within T-Mobile's Business 1-Plan. This flurry of news has arisen after the Bold had retreated from the headlines for a time.
The BlackBerry Bold supports the tri-band 850/1900/2100MHz frequencies and the GSM / GPRS / Edge networks. You'll always know where you are with the Bold too because it features a GPS facility. Data transfer will fly for, alongside the aforementioned 3G specification, the mobile phone also includes WiFi supporting 802.11 a/b/g. The Bold also includes SD/SDHC memory cards.
According to The Register website, T-Mobile said that the Bold handset, positioned on the business tariff, offers a "flexible allowance of voice, data, texts and international calls".
