Samsung's A777 low cost mobile phone unveiled

Slider handset to target budget market.

The Samsung A777 mobile phone is set to be released. The new device sports a slider design and will be available in a range of colours.

It is reported that the handset will initially be shipped in four variants: green, red, orange and blue. The colour choices will ensure that the chassis will stand out from the crowd, according to the Engadget website.

Little else is known about the specific specifications of the new design at this time. 

The Samsung A777 will first be launched in the US with a a price tag below $100. It is believed that this will take place before Christmas. However, there is no release date or price for the UK market as of yet.
