Free download provides local travel information for Manchester United fans
Fans of Manchester United can now get free match day travel alerts when travelling to and from Old Trafford. TravelFC is a collaboration between the football club and mxData, and will provide CCTV camera images of motorway and A-road hotspots, recommended car parks and up-to-date information on tram, train and bus times. TravelFC also provides a list of points of interest including local hotels, restaurants and pubs.
Although TravelFC is currently only applicable to Manchester United and Old Trafford, mxData hopes to launch TravelFC with many more football clubs. TravelFC is available to download for free by texting travelfc mu to 60070. For more information, visit www.mxdata.com.
