iPhone 3G top of the October online search list
According to a survey by the online company, Hitwise, the Apple iPhone 3G was the most searched for mobile phone during October in the UK. Apparently, the handset took 5.8% of all mobile phone searches.
However, not far behind is the Nokia N96, which scored an equally impressive 5.5% of the search market for October. In third place is the Samsung F480 Tocco with 2.5%, along with the Samsung Omnia i900.
On 2.4% was the Sony Ericsson C905 and, on 1.6% is the LG Viewty KU990 followed by the Nokia N95. The final three places are occupied by the Sony Ericsson C902, Xperia X1 and, surprisingly, the Samsung G600, which has been out on the market for some time and is not considered an especially desirable phone regarding current specifications.
However, its ease of use and solid array of features has meant that it has retained interest throughout the market.
