iD Mobile, which is owned by retailer Carphone Warehouse, was launched on the Three network in April of 2015 to offer tailor-made mobile phone tariffs to customers. The main aim of the new network was to address issues like inflexible roaming plans for frequent travellers, non-availability of short term plans and lack of standardised billing based on best prices in the market.
iD Mobile enters PAYG field, offers 4GB at just £15!
In February of last year, iD Mobile introduced UK's first ever free rollover data plans for 12 and 24 months to allow customers make optimum use of their data allowances. Consumers could check how much data had already been consumed and how much remained to be spent on their iD Mobile apps or through the My iD Account section on idmobile.co.uk. Over half of all contract customers have signed up since the network introduced rolling data, suggesting that it could have been the game changer.

Then in December of last year, iD Mobile entered the PAYG field, offering attractive SIM-only deals which involved no credit checks or contracts. iD Mobile's SIM-only PAYG plans start at just £5 a month and go up to £15 a month. If you're looking for a non-bundle plan, you can go for iD Mobile's 'Out of Bundle' which will cost you 3p per minute, 2p per SMS, 3p per MMS and 1p per MB of data consumed. The 'Out of Bundle' rates are among the lowest in the industry, with 3p a minute sounding like a treat when compared to 30p a minute charged by the likes of EE, Vodafone and O2 and 35p a minute charged by Virgin Mobile.
The best 1GB, 5GB and 10GB network deals this year
To get more people to sign up this year, iD Mobile recently introduced their new 'data cushion' offer with select handset deals. The offer allows customers to receive an emergency 10 GB 4G data pot which they can use anytime they wish during their contract periods. The network are also allowing customers to choose between adding Data Rollover or Capping on all its 30 day rolling contract SIM-only plans.
