Super Mario once used to be among the most popular video games in the world and earlier this year, Nintendo launched the new Super Mario Run gaming app for iOS, letting iPhone and iPad users play the game once again on their devices and enjoy the same mazes and gaming controls.
While Android fans were a bit let down by Nintendo's decision, the company has now listed the Super Mario Run app on the Google Play Store, signalling that the game will launch soon on Android. The company hasn't announced which Android OS versions the game will be compatible with but it should make this clear once the game releases worldwide.
Android users who would love to play the game on their devices can now pre-register on the Google Play Store and they will be alerted once the game is available to download and play. The game includes plains, caverns, Ghost Houses, airships, castles and many other scenarios which a player will need to cross to rescue Princess Peach, which shouldn't be a problem for those who have played the game before on their video game consoles.
Super Mario Run will feature in-app purchases and you will be able to purchase access to all 6 Worlds if you want to enjoy every scenario being offered by Nintendo. You will also be able to compete with other players in real time and play the Challenge Mode where the competition will differ each time you play. Those who will download the game for free will be able to play only limited scenarios until Nintendo decides otherwise.
