The Misfit Phase Hybrid comes with all the bells and whistles that you would expect a smartwatch to feature. The usual sleep tracking, fitness tracking and step counting are all covered, and so are notifications and alerts. It features a traditional analogue watch face with a small colour window on which you will be able to view texts, calls, app notifications and movement reminders.
Misfit Phase Hybrid features a polished stainless steel body and a rugged satin aluminium shroud. The watch design allows interchanging 20mm bands, letting you choose your strap of choice based on the occasion. The fact that the watch will be available in six colours will also make it easier for you to choose the one that suits you best.
Using the new Misfit Phase Hybrid smartwatch as a remote control, you will also be able to control a range of devices and get things done, be it playing music, taking a picture on your smartphone or switch between slides in a presentation. The best ingredients of the smartwatch is that it has a six-month battery life and that it is water-resistant up to a depth of 50 metres.
“We’re thrilled to launch Misfit Phase, which employs Misfit’s energy efficient, miniaturised Bluetooth enabled technology in a traditional watch form factor. Watches are the fashion-credible predecessor of wearable technology, and Misfit Phase showcases both the evolution of the wearable technology space and its convergence with the world of fashion accessories,” said Preston Moxcey, General Manager of Misfit.
Misfit Phase Hybrid will be available from the middle of November from the Misfit UK website and its pricing will start from £165, depending on your choice of colour. Unfortunately, pre-orders for the smartwatch cannot be made as yet. The Misfit Phase Hybrid launch follows the launch of the Shine 2 Swimmer's Edition tracker in June which cost just £89.99 and which offered advanced fitness tracking methods to swimmers as well as those engaged in other activities like walking, running, cycling, and light and deep sleep.
