Amazon's Fire HD 8 tablet costs £89.99 and has a 12-hour battery life

Amazon's cheap as chips Fire HD tablet series welcomed a new member to the family today- the new Fire HD 8 priced at just £89.99.

Fire HD 8 offers the highest storage capacity for an Amazon Fire tablet and offers a quick fire performance as well.

With the Fire HD 8, Amazon aims to offer a larger screen at a low price to the average media-consuming tablet user. Fire tablets, except for the Fire HD 10, have usually found themselves among other budget tablets in terms of pricing and specifications, but the Fire HD 8 brings in improved performance, memory, audio quality and battery life to offer a package that far exceeds its cost, something that is sure to turn heads in the future.
