When the Moto Z and Moto Z Force were launched, Lenovo introduced a number of accessories named Moto Mods™ like a Moto Insta-Share projector, a JBL SoundBoost speaker and Incipio offGRID™ Power Pack which could seamless work with the phones. According to TechDroider, yet another Moto Mod- a portable camera module will be released by Lenovo soon. The site adds that the module will arrive with 10x optical zoom, a physical shutter, a zoom lens and a xenon flash which is much brighter than generally-used LED flash.
Like regular cameras, the shutter button in the camera module can be rotated to zoom in or zoom out subject images and the module will also carry a power button to turn it on or off. This won't be the first time that you'll get to use a phone camera/accessory with 10x optical zoom as Samsung and Sony have previously launched phones with such zooming capabilities.
With IFA in Berlin a couple of weeks away, we are hopeful that Lenovo will announce the new modular accessory along with its new devices. Recently, Lenovo released a teaser video about several products it is expected to make public at IFA next month. Apart from nearly-announcing a new tablet and a successor to the Moto 360 2nd Gen, the video also gave a glimpse of a few MotoMods that the company may announce at a press event on August 31st.
