One in every four iPhones sold in Q3 was an iPhone SE!
As per details available to us so far, Apple is going to launch its upcoming iPhones with redesigned antenna lines, dual rear cameras only in iPhone 7 Plus, storage variants of 32GB, 64GB and 256GB, substantial camera improvements, A10 chips with faster CPUs and GPUs, 3GB of RAM and will ship with Lightning port to 3.5mm connectors to let you connect you headphones to the Lightning port.
Apple couldn't replicate the sales of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus with those of 6s and 6s Plus, but it later turned out that one in every four iPhones sold in Q2 was an iPhone SE, a smaller and cheaper but equally powerful variant of iPhone 6s. With its first mid-range iPhone ever since the iPhone 5c performing better than expected, it will be interesting to see how Apple will price its upcoming premium iPhones. As of now, Samsung's Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are turning out to be the most popular Android phones to launch this year and we really cannot wait to see if iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will bring back the glory that Apple's iPhones have carried for so long.
iPhone 7 launch and on sale date leaked!
While a lot of fans will be disappointed to know that iPhone 7 will look and feel a lot like existing iPhones, we are sure people will wait to see what Tim Cook has to offer during the launch event before making their buying decisions. With the latest smartphones featuring waterproof design, VR compatibility, removable batteries, unlimited storage slots and iris scanners, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will have a steep hill to climb to regain their prominence in the fiercely competitive market.
Until Tim Cook gets to speak and allay fears of most users, we can make do with some more rumours and the mock up video pasted above. As usual, as soon as we hear more about the upcoming iPhones, we'll let you know as soon as we can.
