Featurring a 5.5-inch IPS LED display, Solarin is a product of intense research on advanced technologies and design conducted at bespoke facilities in Sweden and Tel Aviv. It features Zimperium, a new mobile threat protection software capable of thwarting the most potent cyberattacks along with an advanced privacy technology. Its makers thus believe that the phone is so secure and unworldly that it probably deserves your life's savings.
We do not accept that price drives what’s available in technology. With SOLARIN, we break the rules.’ said Moshe Hogeg, President and Co-founder at SIRIN LABS.
Solarin also incorporates chip-to-chip 256-bit AES encryption which is the result of an integration between SIRIN LABS and KoolSpan and which is often used by powerful militaries to secure their communication networks. You can also use the Security Switch on the back of the phone too activate a shielded mode which fully encrypts calls and messages.
Featuring Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor, Solarin also packs support for 24 bands LTE compatibility, supports 802.11ac 2x2 MU-MIMO Wi-Fi technology which offers up to three times the speed of conventional Wi-Fis and also incorporates WiGig™ (802.11ad) multi-gigabit Wi-Fi technology which can support speeds of up to 4.6Gbps. The phone also contains Qualcomm's Quick Charge technology for fast charging as well as a powerful battery.
The primary camera in Solarin is a 23.8-megapixel one with autofocus and true tone flash and there are also three bass-boosted speakers which work with an amplifier to offer high quality audio. Solarin is designed by Karim Rashid, a well-known industrial designer and you will be able to buy one, if you can, at SIRIN LABS' store in Mayfair from June 1 or at Harrods, Knightsbridge from June 30.
